KNMA Tournament – Postponement

Dear members of the KNMA community,

We know the COVID-19 Coronavirus is a widespread concern, and we are monitoring the situation very closely. The health and safety of our entire community – students, parents, instructors – is our foremost priority.

After reviewing the latest guidance to the public and consultation from medical sources, we have decided to indefinitely postpone the school tournament planned for this Sunday. We will reschedule once the situation has resolved beyond ambiguity, and will provide ample notification ahead of time for scheduling.

In the meantime, we are taking steps to ensure the dojo remains a safe and hygienic environment for our students to train. If you or a family member begin showing symptoms of illness, please stay home to rest, both for the benefit of yourself and the peace of mind of your fellow classmates.

The door to the office remains open as always, and Master Nagayama will be glad to address each of your individual concerns.
